The HUB Division is sponsoring an operations weekend open to all operators on May 3-5, 2024

You have a clear track ahead for a weekend of model railroad operations on multiple layouts joining operators from near and far.

  • Operating sessions Friday, Saturday, Sunday
  • Operate on N-scale, HO-scale, O-scale, Fn3 scale layouts
  • Diner/breakfast gathering.

Buckeye Railroad

Worcester Central Lines

HO Scale

Webster, MA

Is a depiction of railroad activity in Central New England in the late 70s and early 80s. Thru trains originate and finish in the staging yards while locals originate in either the large, WCL classification yard or the small yards in the industrial areas.

B & M White Mountain Route

HO Scale

This layout attempts to recreate the B&M Route between Concord, NH and Woodsville, NH in 1954. All eight passenger trains of the era are represented as well as several local and through freights.

Red Oak Railroad

The Red Oak Railroad is a point to point operations layout encompassing scenes of 7 towns in central New Hampshire. The theme is late steam and early diesel.

Central Maine and Aroostook

N Scale

The triple level railroad features both the Maine Central and the Bangor and Aroostook set in the mid 60’s to early 70’s. The 2 large yards and papermill with road jobs and locals will keep operators busy.

CSX RFP Sub

N Scale

Modern layout loosely modeling CSX mainline action from Baltimore Maryland to Richmond Virginia. Assignments include two yard masters, a port operator, several locals with switching, through freights, unit trains and passenger trains.

Valley Junction

HO Scale

The VJRR is a point-to-point system running on a schedule with a fast clock, train instruction cards and waybills. Crew size is eight consisting of dispatcher, two yard masters, a branch line operator and four main line crews.

B & M Eastern Route

SJR&P

Fn3 Scale - Outdoors

The SJR&P is a F/Fn3 1:20.3 scale outdoor garden railway with nearly 5000 feet of track, over 250 pieces of rolling stock, and more than 40 locomotives powered by DCC. The focal point of the SJR&P is narrow gauge operation.
